A pair of men have been found guilty for planning to rob and kill Joss Stone in 2011. Kevin Liverpool, 35, and Junior Bradshaw, 32, heard unanimous verdicts today. According to BBC?correspondent Jon Kay, and as noted by Billboard, Liverpool received life in prison with a minimum of 10 years of incarceration. Bradshaw's sentencing was delayed.

Liverpool and Bradshaw were arrested in June 2011 near Stone's home in Devon, England. Suspicious neighbors called police, and the duo were nabbed carrying swords, rope and a body bag. The prosecution focused on handwritten notes by Liverpool that revealed the pair's plan to behead Stone due to her relationship with England's royal family; Stone is friends with Prince William and attended his April 2011 wedding to Kate Middleton. Bradshaw claimed ignorance, saying he had never heard of Stone before his arrest.

"This has been a long and difficult investigation," said Superintendent and Senior Investigating Officer Steve Parker in a statement. "While on the face of it the circumstances speak for themselves, the inquiry has involved some complex areas of law and presented significant challenges to the investigation team."
The plot didn't slow down Stone -- since Liverpool and Bradshaw's arrest, the singer has released two solo albums, 2011's?"LP 1" and last year's "The Soul Sessions Vol. 2", and teamed with Mick Jagger, Damian Marley and Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics to release?an album?as "SuperHeavy."
