Is?Pottermore not enough to satiate your craving for more of Harry and his universe? If you're in London, you can soon go on The Making of Harry Potter tour, where the actual Hogwarts castle used for the?flicks will serve as the grand finale.
While the castle is technically a miniature that was used for aerial shots, it's actually pretty huge. It measures 50' in diameter, with 2,500 fiber optic lights that served as the magical stone castle's torches in the movies. Originally built for the first?Harry Potter film, the castle had been constantly renovated through the years to accommodate changes needed for each of the eight films. So much work went into it that the total man hours spent building and renovating the castle is 74 years!
According to the?tour's website, full day to night lighting cycles will take place every four minutes inside the castle's showroom so you can see the Hogwarts castle in its full glory. If you can't fly to London to see the impressively detailed castle, check out the video above to at least see how it was built.
